2. Information and permissions

Iqra may request microphone access to support recitation recognition and tracking. The exact handling of voice data depends on the speech-recognition service used in the released version. This policy will be finalized and kept consistent with the production build and Google Play Data safety declaration before publication.

3. Local app data

Bookmarks, reading progress, preferences, session details and review notes may be stored locally on the user’s device. We do not claim that data is collected off-device unless the released app or an integrated service actually transmits it.

4. Third-party services

The app may use third-party libraries or services for speech recognition, audio delivery, crash diagnostics or platform functionality. Before release, each production dependency will be reviewed and disclosed accurately where required.

5. How information is used

Information is used only to provide app functionality, maintain security, diagnose problems, improve reliability and comply with legal or platform requirements.

6. Sharing and sale

Sakkaf Labs does not sell personal information. Any service provider receiving data must be disclosed and limited to the purpose required to operate the app.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Internet transmission and electronic storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Retention and deletion

Locally stored app data can generally be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Where future account or cloud features are introduced, corresponding retention and deletion controls will be provided and described here.

9. Children

Iqra is not currently designated as an app specifically directed to children. This statement will be reviewed against the final target audience declaration before publication.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when app functionality, third-party services or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
